  GIOSI has successfully built mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with Western Canadian certified organic growers. • International Organic Grain Merchant

  GIOSI is a merchant, not a broker. Once the grain leaves your farm gate, we assume full responsibility for the care, trucking, handling, cleaning and shipping of your grain. Growers International is certified as a corporate member of the Quality Assurance International (QAI) and OCPP/Pro-Cert

• Licensed and Bonded Facilities

  GIOSI provides dedicated elevator cleaning and storage facilities at Wilcox and Wolesley, Saskatchewan. GIOSI is licensed and bonded through the Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) and the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC). This means that all GIOSI transactions are secured by the Government of Canada and producers are guaranteed they will receive full payment for their products.

• Payment on the Ramp

  When your grain arrives at a GIOSI elevator, it is weighed and a standard dockage test is taken during unloading and a sample is kept at the elevator. Payment for your consignment includes the elevator price, the organic premium and payment for screenings (dockage). GIOSI is responsible for all costs and the administration of the CWB buyback and any interim or final CWB payments accrue back to the producer.

• Trucking to the Elevator

  GIOSI arranges and pays for trucking from your farm to the elevator.

• Grain Upgrading Capability

  GIOSI offers grade upgrading at the elevators where possible with the benefits accruing to the producer.

• Production Contracts

  GIOSI offers production contracts for fall delivery on Hard Red Spring Wheat, Amber Durum and Flaxseed.
